Charlotte
I found some good recipes for biscotti so I might go for a bit of an Italian flavour too.
Snooze
I'm thinking more things in small packages/boxes like chocolate with hazelnuts/toffee/nougat. I'd like something savoury too but I'm not sure what?! If you're thinking of making something, pickles/chutneys are always good around Christmas. With some nice cheese. Yum. tooquicktostop
I found some good recipes for biscotti so I might go for a bit of an Italian flavour too. Pasta making kit, "oo" flour, saffron and some jars of truffle paste, pesto, artichoke and garlic puree, good olive oil, something very relaxing about making your own pasta at home

I was going to try some chutney based products too. Then I can just buy some cheese and wack it all together.
Ewen
Christmas Baklava...its like normal Baklava, but with Drambuie and a sprig of holly on top. Lots of it please. Mind you, filo pastry is rather bad for cholesterol isnt it ? In that case, just the usual fruit cake then...cant have enough fruit cake, soaked in Drambuie obviously. And I have to say, I'm not keen on alcohol puddings or baklava or filo pastry.

michael
I just had a random chunk of memory fall out - mock crab. I'm the only person in the office who remembers it but it's made me think about retro foods in small pots again... http://www.seymour-recipes.com/recipes/Sandwiches/SandwichFillings/MockCrab.html
Charlotte
Is that like a mock plate of mock fried food but actually sweets?
michael
Are you mocking me? No, this isn't Blackpool... although that would be a cool gift idea.
