If there's not enough demand they may decide it's not worth the effort, and fill them with uprated diesel or something. That would be a big shame, but market forces will dictate this. imi Posted May 11, 2005 Share Posted May 11, 2005 Refilled the car with tesco 99....on a full tank I got 19.5 mpg as supposed to 21mpg with Optimax.. mind you...I had to do several Supra demonstrations I need to empty the tank before I give you all my verdict. so far its looking good....i can recommend that you all give it a try (where available), it is certainly NOT BAD compared to Optimax. imi Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 Ive been using Tesco 99 for a few weeks now...Cant say that there is much difference between this & ESSO SUL. It does give me better mileage though and the car is running very well on FULL Throttle and when cold...plus @ 85.9p/ltr its an absolute steal compared to Optimax. GOOD BYE SHELL......
