As my hybrids have had a paddy and the seals have gone, i was thinking of putting a single on, with the mods i have at the moment what else would i need to get to support a T61 please? I know id need a manifold and downpipe.....

Current mods:

EMU, Blitz SBC ID III, 550cc, Resistor Pack, Miami-GT FMIC, TRL FCD, Denso IK24's, Walbro fuel pump, Nur spec, Full Whifbitz decatt, CW RR, HKS SSQV, AEM Wideband, HKS Oil Pressure and Water Temp.

Thanks

Compression test leak down test if no good

fuel pressure regluator

wastegate

oil cooler

screamer pipe/recirc pipe

What miles are on the engine as if its alot then parts will be tired and need changing for stock new parts or modded depending how much horsepower you are wanting.

wow didnt realise you dont actually need masses of aftermarket spec to get a single on there. Obviously a remap in there after too!! ;)

I have pretty much the same as you ADD minus the injectors and EMU ... hmmmm, you have put BAD thoughts in my mind dude.

have a look in my garage as i have run a T61 for the last 4 years, before you rush out and buy a tubular manifold i would seriously consider a cast manifold, unless you plan on running 700hp in the future :D, faster spool and much more compact, also a 3200rpm hi stall torque converter will absolutely transform the car

Thanks all for ya responses sorry for late reply, im working night shifts this week.

The car has done 105k and i would most def get a compression and leak down test done before going any further. When you say turbo ancillaries what exactly are they?

How much woukld i be looking at for a T61 price wise?

It's been pretty much covered already, but would just add that if you are not aiming for really high power figures I'd seriously consider a cast manifold over the tubular ones. With a smaller turbo like the T61 it makes much more sense.

Only drawback is they don't sound that great, but that's a minor thing ;)

Homer is there a big price difference between tubular and cast? The noise is rather important :)

Cast tends to be cheaper but a lot depends on which system you choose - that's the really important bit. Noise wise I would say the cast is a bit quieter, but they do have their drawbacks. From the half dozen or so I've heard or driven they don't sound quite as nice off boost, but with an open screamer pipe you won't notice any difference once it's on full chat.
