Stratty
Some great stuff on here. I have always liked the comic-book heroes or villains creations. They are never alike. An artist will draw what he/she perceives as the best super-hero and some of the creations are simply awesome.
Thorin
I've always wanted to try and learn 3D computer modelling, but I've no idea where to start. I had a play around with Cinema4D years ago.
Nic
I use to always be drawing as a kid, went to art college and then did a design degree. I've done a lot of life drawing over the years, drawing the human body is one of the best ways to get you to really LOOK and interpret forms, shade, light, texture, etc. Using a broad medium such as charcoal really helps you free up and experiment with you're style. When I use to design for a living, I kind of lost the pleasure of drawing as a hobby, but it's something I really want to get back into. My one bit of advice would be to sign up for a life drawing class, I think it would really help.
