It's actually pretty nail-biting watching it download. We've been plagued with power failures for the last few weeks. We've had four since 05:30 this morning! You *have* to play this on-line... it's hilarious.. we have fairly regular goes on this (XBox) and it's always good. TBH I tend to like to explore every nook and cranny and take my time rather than rushing around and stumbling into firefights. Guigsy Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 I played l4d and am currently enjoying l4d2 on the pc. the 2nd one is better online imo. more varied classes and much better veriety of guns and mele weapons. The spitter is good fun. Cant beat decapitating a zombie with a guitar also... chainsaw ftw! I did enjoy the single player. However the computer AI was deeply frustrating. and occasionaly the level design ended up killing me. I got stuck in a few places. one time between a rock and a fence post. The computer AI then exploded a boomer on me... Another time right near the end on the 3rd level of the last mission the level curls back on its self a little bit. and i was on a flat roof. and jumped onto a balcony's banister to get a good position to shoot the horde! however a zombie appeared from nowhere and knocked me off my precarious pirch onto the street below (near the start of the level.) and i couldnt get back. just as i realised i had to run the entire level killing zombies on my own i smoker grabbed me with his tongue. However, I can't help feeling that there is a really good zombie game still to be made. Personally, it'd be single player oriented with shedloads of zombaz, limited ammo and plenty of stealth. Give it some levels like L4D or in settings like that MW games of a few weeks back. I'm sure we'll see something one day. Until then, mine's the shotgun.
