Guest sam.ross
Hi guys and girls im Sam 21 from East Kilbride Scotland. I currently own a Toyota/Lexus Soarer TT and a Trusty Escort Van I am getting rid of both and looking to get a N/A Supra as insurance premiums are more realistic and running 2 vehicles isnt as economical as I thought Great forum you all have, ive had a snoop around projects section, FAQs etc but plenty more to see. Nice to meet you all

Guest sam.ross
Cheers guys. Im just having a look at your Supra just now Scott and I must say pretty amazing spec and im surprised I hav'nt seen it about! I'm proboably looking to spend around 3kish as my hours have been cut at work so I want a fairly standard or at least tastefully modded N/A so i can mod to my own taste later on when im back in full time. I'll be using funds from selling my current car and van. I would stretch higher for a manual 5 speed but from what ive heard they aint easy to come by. I am aware that i am maybe pushing the boat out with that price btw but at the moment it is a start.

Unfortunately it's spent most of its time in my ownership either in the garage getting stuff done or in the bodyshop getting stuff done. Hoping thats all coming to an end though. 3k will see you a tidy N/A auto. If you are willing to wait and look out for a bargain you MIGHT manage to get a manual for that money. You would have to be VERY lucky though. Best of luck in your search Out of curiosity, how much are you expecting from your TT? Surely that should be easily enough to fund an N/A? Guest sam.ross
It is a relatively rare car however it is not in high demand and i would be waiting a very long time to get my asking price so would put it up for 1500ono for a quick sale but would prefer part exchange as it is less hastle. mustang
Welcome and good luck with the search, I'd say you'll get a tidy 5spd for that, you will have to be prepared to spend some time searching and travel, but the road trip and home journey is worth it! Scott
I would recommend going to see a few that you don't intend to buy. That way you get a bit of practice in. You don't want your feelings to end up buying you a pup
