Britains scariest road junctions

Must agree about the M8 - it's a total pain in the backside with traffic merging and departing from both left and right. Plus when you do need to change lane it's usually nose-to-tail traffic too.

Worst part of my S-N drive when I go home and that includes Spaghetti Junction.

The poll also showed that 2% of motorists are so nervous they avoid making right turns at all costs, while 14% do not go near urban areas.

Isn't that more to do with incompetence rather than confusing road layouts?

Large roundabouts were considered to present the most confusing aspect of urban driving, followed by one-way systems, speed bumps, cameras and box junctions.

Again, what's confusing about a speed bump?

Possibly those should I/shouldn't I moments when approaching one of those speed bumps in the middle of the road that you have to straddle when a car is coming in the opposite direction. If one thing is designed to make two cars collide head on that is it.
