RedM
Propagandhi, the legendary Canadian vegan, animal-rights supporting, anti-capitalist, anarcho punk band are playing in Leeds on Tuesday night. It's at Rio's (near to Richer Sounds) and support comes from Protest The Hero and Strike Anywhere. My better half has to work that evening so there is a ticket going spare. The ticket has a face value of £13. I don't want paying for it but I'd appreciate it if you were to make a donation to one of the organisations that attend the bands gigs. Oh, and there is no obligation to talk to me during the evening. PM me if you are interested. I'm offering the ticket elsewhere too so you may not be successful. Thorin
I quite liked that, it's the first Propagandhi song I've heard since you suggested them a while back. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be free Tuesday night.
Charlotte
Tuesday night is my right wing steak eating night. If only it had been a Wednesday.

RedM
I quite liked that, it's the first Propagandhi song I've heard since you suggested them a while back. It's a golden oldie from them. One of my favourites. They're a bit less melodic these days. The 'thrash' has been increased.
RedM
Tuesday night is my right wing steak eating night. If only it had been a Wednesday. Isn't Wednesday your sparkly make-up night? BTW, they are spokespeople for PETA/PETA 2. Maybe you could swap activism tips, being a fan and all.

Thorin
BTW, they are spokespeople for PETA/PETA 2. Maybe you could swap activism tips, being a fan and all. There's a "PETA 2"?? Is it as good as the first one?
RedM
err... I'm washing my hair that night.. It doesn't start until seven. I don't think you'd need long.:p Good bit of club spirit there Mart Cheers. I figured it might be a good way to get somebody to experience something a little different with no financial outlay. There's nowt to be scared of. You can ignore the 'scary' activist types from Sea Shepherd, the Vegan society, the ALF etc and just enjoy some rockingly good tunes. It's not like the bygone days of Crass gigs hence the bands link to Peta2, the shinier, more palatable youth oriented side of Peta. Still, I bet I end up making a paper plane with the ticket. Charlotte
I'm not strange more curious as to why. Why I care about animal welfare? I really don't want to have a 'debate' with you so I won't say anything else.
michael
If anyone does go for this offer of a ticket please make sure you get to the venue without warming the planet up and things, I presume it's an acoustic gig with no lighting? fxis7Y1ikIQ

I was merely curious as to what your perception of PETA is and how that appeals to you. But as you don't want to discuss it I'll just assume the worst.
