I recently put my Celica on pistonheads but thought I would put it here as well if there is any interest. It's not a great time to be selling at the moment but I am of course open to reasonable offers for forum members via PM if you are interested.

 

If I had some more money i would love to hold on to it but when I got my Supra I had to move my no claims off it to get the Supra insurance to a reasonable level so it is no longer insured currently by myself and I have my chums at Barclaycard to pay and it is currently stuck at my folks house in their garage so they will want the garage back before long

 

It is MOTd till Feb or March I believe and I am happy to put 6 months tax on it as I can get day insurance for less than 20 quid to arrange that. If I had a bit more cash I was hoping to keep it as my daily drive.

Toyota Celica GT (ST202) UK Car

 

Later 6th gen model Celica GT (1999), I have owned it just over 3 years.

Just under 94000 miles

 

Car has just had a full service

 

2 Litre normally aspirated engine producing around 180Bhp

 

16" Unisport allow wheels with replaced wheel nuts and a set of locking wheel nuts.

 

4 X new tyres less than 2 months old, boot spare checked ok (full size)

 

Power steering, passenger and driver's side airbags, electric windows and sunroof (no leaks)

 

Twin pipe stainless steel sports exhaust fitted (£390 & Cat back) loud but not too loud. 7 year guarantee left on this which will be included you just need to update it with your details.

 

Front brake pads 3 months old, Back pads 6 months

 

All brake calipers replaced or reconditioned, rear brake shims fitted 2 weeks ago.

 

Both rear disks less than a year old

 

Cam belt and water pump replaced 6 months ago

 

Full leather interior a little wear but no rips, good condition.

 

New starter motor and high cap battery 4 months ago. This is the only thing other than a siezed caliper that caused me a problem in the 3 years of owning the car.

 

Sony CDX200 CD radio included which also plays MP3 CDs.

 

Momo Gear knob and new mats inside, whole interior has been cleaned with seats removed.

 

Service history: I have all the MOTs from when I have owned the car and all paperwork (service invoices etc) I have gotten in that time. Theres the service book stamped and paperwork / MOTs from previous owners also.

 

 

Bad points

Scuff on driver side rear quarter where someone caught it in a car park. Took it in to get repaired but the guy who normally paints cars for me had retired and I have not got around to finding someone else yet. I have touched it in slightly (better than what it was).

 

Rattle / Rubbing noise on starting on cold days, could be hydraulic tappets warming up but dissapears after a few moments. Took it in to get checked over and had the cam belt / pump replaced so its not that, garage said its not even worth worrying about but wanted to mention it.

 

I had the front bumper partially sprayed a few years back but as it sits quite low stone chips have come back.
