Dragonball
Sorry to re-hash this one - but cant find it in search Just fitted a manual boost gauge - but not sure if it working OK On idle it falls to approx -0.7 - and I really haven't got it past +0.5 on medium acceleration How do I check - and what are anyone else's manual readings? Many thanks Paul
Billy
That sounds about right to me i have got a de cat and nur spec r i get about the same at idle and about 0.8 bar under medium acceleration
ChrisR
Hi Paul, Ideally you will need to get a max output reading on the gauge, my Supra is just Decatted with stock cat back exhaust and am outputting 0.9 BAR, 13 PSI and once i get a Blitz Nur Spec R i will aim for 1.2 BAR 18 PSI. It may go higher than that which means that a restrictor ring will need fitting. As billy says it depends on each car. Regards Chris
Thorin
I asked the same thing when I fitted mine. In my ignorance I'd assumed that the gauge should sit at zero on idle (and not at -0.7 like it does). On full acceleration it gets to 0.8 (or maybe very slightly higher).
