Benyon
Ok im at work and Im starting testing a PC, I have a works copy of modern warfare 2 and I need to stress the graphics which means me playing it for abit . Ive just installed the game inc steam. Without working my way through the storyline, what is the best way to do a level with high graphics needs (Ive never played it before) I need a level I can access now which will have alot of things going on. bigbloodyturbo
You could try the spec-ops levels.
Supra786
Try the special ops mode, I don't think you can actually skip the levels in single player mode, as you have to work through the levels, just start with level 1.
edge
MW2 is not very demanding on graphics. Download 3d benchmark and that will give you an idea of what it is capable of.

It's a hard job you have there isn't it!! Sniper-Fi has a lot of guys and some vehicles running around in it. It's the second Special Op. If you get to like the second or third level in campaing you're in an Airport. That looks like it could be pretty heavy on the old graphics. There's a lot going on. Benyon
Yeh ive been messing around on the spec ops but thats not been heavy on the graphics yet. As for the benchmark I have a few different ones inc Vantage, 3Dmark ect, In the past we have sent out gaming pc's which I have had benchmark testing a full day and night and it passes, then the customer gets it starts playing a game and it either freezes or funny patterns on screen, so I decided to start playing games for half an hour (bosses let me to:D) which unfortunetly seems to work better than the benchmarks. p.s. im typing with one hand please excuse the grammer. Ok I will have to work my way upto that level, the PC im working on has cost someone over 3k so I wanna make sure its right. As for the job being hard, oh it is very, I mean im used to the xbox
bigbloodyturbo
Stick armed assault on it and crank everything up to very high detail then set the view distance to max and see if it trips up when you fly the harrier, that usually saw my PC spit the dummy out

I usually play racing games to test the graphics because you can install the game and race, anything with a storyline isnt good for in work, I thought this game is supposed to be the bee's knee's when it came to graphics.
