Well i had to do something while i wait so descided to start stripping the front end off again so i can get the trd wings on once they arrive and fit the trd bumper.Going to mess around with the inside ducting part over this weekend .Looking at hodges thread lots of trimming will be going on there. Also been painting the wishbones and hubs and callipers black, they were looking tired.

well just tried 3 more base maps and still not attempting to start.Just tried datalogging and noticed the throttle position doesnt move when you press the peddle even though im communicating in real time. This has been a couple months of headache now and i dont like to be beaten but its looking like im going to have to take it to somebody to get it running .I think a fair bit could be due to my lack of knowledge on computers.

I have to say a big thanks to Ian for all his help with the ecu so far,and for putting up with my lack of computer knowledge.

done a couple recordings of the datalogging for Ian to look at.It appears im not reading any injector duty cycle so need to make sure the injectors are actually firring if not check the wirring again. There were a couple other issues that should of been ironed out now.Id love it if there was some fabricating still to do.I also have another map to try and more datalogging to do.

my new charger belt has just arrived 7 days from winning on ebay from the states ,and to think summit racing wanted twice as much for delivery and twice as much for the belt.I will be keeping the company in my favourites now.Anyway finaly got the 7 rib belt that i wanted so fingers crossed this one will be of a size that wont be on full adjustment on the tensioner. The gatorbak have some impressive reviews giving more grip.

Got the new belt fitted and its perfect, the adjuster is in the middle so i have lots more adjustment for tension now.I just checked the injectors and plugs ,it seems i have 2 issues firstly the plugs are bone dry so i presume my injectors are not being told to fire.Secondly i have no spark from the plugs. It definately seems that there is a wirring issue now.

Im still hanging on barn waiting wishing and hoping that you can solve the issue of lack of BHP in the n.a engine.

just this bloody emu to sort out properly, but hopefully this is in hand and should be sorted in a couple of weeks time now.God damn electrical crap does my head in.rather have an old yank v8 with holley dp any day.

Done some more checking today and it seems the fuel pump isnt being told to operate as there is no fuel coming out of the delivery pipe ,plus you can not feel or hear it in the boot.We exposed the connector on the pump and gave it a direct feed from a spare battery and the pump came to life ,plenty of fuel came out of the cracked banjo.Just another thing that points to a fault with the wirring somewhere.Hopefully though there might be a common problem that it knocking everything out.Where does the fuel pump get its feed from ,which wire from the ecu ect.

What a joy,the car has just fired into life again.Looks like a wire or connector is loose behind the instruments. Was doing a diagnostic check and realised that the oil warning light wasnt coming on with the ignition. So i gave it a trusy wack and hey presto lights ,turned the key again and vrooooom.Even though the car sounds like a bag of crap it sounden great to hear it again.Going to check the wires and connectors and refit the emu ,once i remove all though branching wires.I'd forgotten how damn loud it was .Ha neighbours are going to love me again now.

Big thanks to Ian.

I have just reconnected the emu minus 2 wires and the car has started again.Something must be better with the modifications since it last ran as the boost must be up a bit ,the intercooler pipe just blew off jeezz i craped it at first what a bang that makes.I havnt got any swaged ends on the pipework so thinking this might cause a problem for mapping now,if it were stainless i could of just run a bead of weld around to help.Going to have to run around now and find somebody who can do all the ends.
