Good to see this back on the right track :thumbs:

 

fingers crossed this time,was going to leave it until next year but couldnt do it.been messing around with the tensioner trying to fix it tighter as it still had too much movement should be all but there on that side of things just need to find a pk7 belt now as nobody locally can supply one that width.

well fingers crossed thats the emanage wired in.just waiting for the map sensor now and still need a belt for the charger.hopefully by the weekend things can progress a bit further.thanks Ian for the advice and thanks to mark for the soldering in the awkward position.

been cracking on with the damaged zafira aswell which is more important at the moment.

That should work better mate, any sign off the Ecu wiring being sorted?

 

I still need to come down and sort my blowing out, seem to not get 2 minutes to do anything at the moment, have not even had chance to go an try and sort the Xmas party prices yet:rolleyes:

 

its wired up just waiting for the map sensor to turn up.plus need to sort out AIT sensor,cant see how using the na one will work as its only push fit.I still have the map one inplace but not sure if it makes a difference which way round the 2 wires need to go.

thats the tensioner sorted now hopefully ,doesnt look pretty at the moment but does the job of tensioning the belt properly now.Instead of using nuts to try and tension it now has the threaded bar which winds the pulley upwards tightening the belt .Also fitted another supporting bracket as the whole thing was trying to pull out as the belt was under tension,now it stays firm.Cant try it yet flat battery.

So the next step is to try and get some sort of map onto the emu Ian c will be performing his magic.
