barneybrendan Posted August 22, 2010 Author Share Posted August 22, 2010 Ian is going to give me a hand and take control..big thanks to him for sending the detailed wirring diagram,just one wire colour that was wrong ,wrote as yellow/black for vacum sensor as the na one is white and blue,sorted now though after scratching my head for a bit. barneybrendan Posted August 22, 2010 Author Share Posted August 22, 2010 Good to see this back on the right track fingers crossed this time,was going to leave it until next year but couldnt do it.been messing around with the tensioner trying to fix it tighter as it still had too much movement should be all but there on that side of things just need to find a pk7 belt now as nobody locally can supply one that width. barneybrendan Posted September 18, 2010 Author Share Posted September 18, 2010 thats the tensioner sorted now hopefully ,doesnt look pretty at the moment but does the job of tensioning the belt properly now.Instead of using nuts to try and tension it now has the threaded bar which winds the pulley upwards tightening the belt .Also fitted another supporting bracket as the whole thing was trying to pull out as the belt was under tension,now it stays firm.Cant try it yet flat battery.
