far
so just as an update the farmer has been requested to send through the paperwork of costs and so far he has failed to do so, he is now claiming that the vet was brought in under his insurance policy and the costs are based on the increased premiums he will have to pay, as such there is no 'receipt' for the vets efforts. We have also asked to find out what he has done with the dead sheep and if we can have evidence that it is actually dead - again no info so far We also asked why and how the sheep was on the road and not in the field as in theory they should be kept in their enclosure/fields

Might be worth just saying you can either provide me with the documentation or you can try it on it the small claims court. I'd quess at that he'd just leave it or give you a proper amount.
