johnny g
Does anyone know of an open source product listing engine using php/mysql? Something like a car listing website... Thanks, Tom There's lots of PHP/MySQL stuff out there, you can modify a Joomla setup, or Drupal. Also check out OsCommerce, ZenCart and VirtueMart if you want to try the listings for sale. Lots of options - try the demos and see which you prefer
tomssupra
Thanks Johnny, I'm using OpenCart for a shop (http://www.thenaturalcandleco.co.uk/shop) but I need something for products where you wouldn't actually purchase online - just product image/info listing with a admin backend for the user. Have you setup Drupal? Seems like quite an effort, Joomla is ok but finding it hard to customise into my own templates...
DamanC
Oscommerce. You can then mod it as much as you like Simply removing the stock "details" and "add to cart" buttons.

I used Drupal once and never really got on with it. Joomla is fine with CSS - you can download Artisteer to make your own templates and get them 95% of where you want them, then manually edit the CSS/HTML from there.
