ray007
hi all im thinking of doing an na-t. thats using the TT head on an na!! is this a good idea or am i better of installing a TT engine?? i was thinking of using the head and going single at the same time, could anyone advise what else i will need besides the turbo, manifold, ecu, oil lines, down pipes...... also in term of internals will the TT head bolt straight on to an NA?? also can i use TT pistons and rods in an n/a??? any advice would be appreciated
dr_jekyll
yes you can use the tt rods and pistons, they will fit straight in. you would be better off getting a gte engine if you are going to do all this work as you will basicly be building a gte minus the oil jets that cool the pistons . unless it alot cheaper to do it this way id reccomend just getting a complete tt engine . tooquicktostop
Mate, you have asked the NA-T question before http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=184079 Then you saw sense and put the kit up for sale, the TT engine route is far less complex and gives reliable results, seeing 400 BHP at BPU level You would be crazy to fit the kit you purchased of here, it has too many issues with an NA-T conversion
ray007
i know i have mate. but at the time i had baught an na-t manifold to bolt directly onto an na.. now im intending to use the gte head, pistons and rods and a single kit as i might get good deal on the bits. ive picked up an na-TT anyway so im using the na for an intresting project.
