imi
What a sad state of affairs, I guess Money talks. Glad that we live in a country where they do have the balls to make a program like this. Britain's Israel Lobby
DODGYDODDS
It's the same in America, most politicians are pro israeli hawks, and the money they give israel is suprising. just shows who pulls the strings of the puppets
imi
No wonder the terrorist state gets away with it time and time again and our governments pull wool over our eyes by making it sound like the middle east resolution is high on the agenda..... Bollocks really.
marbleapple
You love starting these discussions Imi don't you. You come accross to be very racially aware, either that or you just hope to get people hot under the collar! You are surprised people work to manupulate common policy? If there were no groups with particular or different interests then we wouldn't have politics just general agreement and a concensus. The whole reason politics exists is to try accomodate everyone's different opinions. Jews, Catholics, Church of England, Agnostics, Islamic, Large Industry, Small Industry, gay, straight, right, left, centre....... lots and lots of groups wanting different things and exerting pressure where and when they can. God I love society.

marbleapple
I wish that were the case, it seems however that money talks. Don't be silly. As my above post states, people try exert pressure when and where they can. Money is often the way to do this. Please don't pretend that other people other than Israel* don't use money. *Bah I really can't spell today

imi
Please don't pretend that other people other than Israel* don't use money. Really... would love to see whether others are also dipping into the same bucket to push their agenda forward - looking forward to another dispatches perhaps. BTW: If everyone pays off the same people (Doesn't get higher than David Cameron, the PM present and ex) then isnt their a conflict of interest as to who's agenda these people should be pushing forward In any case, makes sense how the a-partite terrorist state gets away with it, its the hypocrisy of it all that makes me sick. DODGYDODDS
in this country we spend i think 4x more on quangoes than defence. Why all these lobbyists if the politics is for the people. and on about israel, when they bombed gaza in the recent conflicts, and used white phosphorus, which is a banned weapon. Our media didnt say anything to the genocide. Politics is a farce, it's the false left right paradigm
marbleapple
Really... would love to see whether others are also dipping into the same bucket to push their agenda forward - looking forward to another dispatches perhaps. . Its been going on for years. King Henry the 8th set up his own bloody Church to avoid the influence of the Roman Church on his country. The Russians were so scared of Rome and the influence it had over it's people they considered trying to invade it.... no need for dispatches, try history books or the news paper. Trade Unions funded Labour for numerous years and politicians still go to the TUC conference. Every Trade Union has huge political power. Rupert Murdock has funded parties for years and each newspaper takes a political standpoint on the run up to elections... its all money and people don't spend money for fun of it. I repeat my 1st post on the subject. BTW: If everyone pays off the same people (Doesn't get higher than David Cameron, the PM present and ex) then isnt their a conflict of interest as to who's agenda these people should be pushing forward Yes but thats the whole thing about politics isn't it. People push and support the party that represent their interests the best. The huge corporations are not going to support a party that wants to tax them more for example. Its called capitalism and amazingly it seems to work pretty well. Socialism and communism seem to oppress the majorities over the long term. You seem to be shocked by it all.... i'm shocked you are not aware of it. Right i'm off. We won't change each others opinions and I have work to do. imi
We are talking about something a bit more serious here, Example, an unelected personnel appointed by the PM (Blair) influencing and driving foreign british policies - unquestioned. Thats a bit worrying isnt it......
