Any Phone on 02

my 02 upgrade is due and im going for a 32gb iphone 3gs.

Problem is, due to my tarrif, if i upgrade to the iphone im going to loose my free 02-to-02 bolt on - which i cant afford too as everyone i know is on 02 :)

simple solution, upgrade to another phone (except palm pre) therefore keeping my bolt on, sell it on, and put the money towards buying the iphone on pay as you go (arround £550 :().

So: if anyone wants a phone that they are willing to buy off line let me know what you want and i will get it delivered straight to you. again, anyphone bar iphones and palm pre. oh and most 02 phones are unlocked so will work with any network...

Depends how much you want for it, but I'd take a:

Sony E' Satio

pm me an offer matey :)

Thinking maybe a Samsung Tocco or LG KM900 Arena for Sprog, if you can get price for either of these (might even get a free upgrade for these as they're only about £80 to buy cash).

you may as well buy it new. im going to need a considerable amount more to be able to offset against the iphone :)

What sort of cost is your tariff currently? If you've got the o2-to-o2 bolt on you're also going to need to buy a data bolt-on.

If you look at the cost of a £44/month contract on a 2 year deal you get the handset for £97, so about £450 off the cost of the handset. If you're on something like a £35/month contract you're gonna have to find a phone that people are going to want to pay more than £235 for.

The N96 seems pretty good, but don't think it's available on o2. I think as the Sony Satio looks like its software has been quality tested by a set of drunk gibbons I think it's resale value on the market for a little while is gonna go south.

Good luck though, just see this route as a lot of hassle for yourself dude. iPhones are verr nice tho :)

Was at Mr Hiten there. Sorry to hijack your thread, a friend has just gone through all this hassle and eventually found changing tariff and gettin the phone only cost him another £2/month on his tariff after having to take into account data bolt ons and text messages etc.

Also do you know if you'll get visual voicemail on your tariff? Not a vital thing but nice to have.

Or find someone who works at o2 to put you on their friends and family list and get a 33% discount on your tariff like I have :D

I haven't fully looked at o2's phone list but if you can get anything like an HTC Hero, a Cookie or N96-esq phone I'd say they'd be the best sellers.

I currently get 40% :sly: Apparently that's due to end come the conclusion of my contract due to O2 not offering 40% anymore.

Might as well give it to you straight mate, £150 otherwise it probably wouldn't be worth it for me.

Considering the Xperia in Feb so maybe a Satio will tide me over until then...

Gonna need more than that bud, thanks for the honesty though, much appreciated :)
