supraszr
Stupid question probably but does anyone know what the best battery to get to replace the standard one in my N/A is?
pedrosixfour
Define "best" and how it might differ from "standard"
AdzC
I got mine from Halfords. HCB005 IIRC (although it should be in one of the FAQs) 5 year warranty with it too.

AdzC
Do you park in a garage with power? If so a trickle charger would be best.

AdzC
If you don't use it that often then I doubt that an uprated battery would be beneficial for you. Could alays just disconnect the battery terminals although that would mean your alarm wouldn't work. Alternative is just to start it up and take it for a run every week. pedrosixfour
Your battery may just need a decent charge from a proper battery charger or a few hours continuous driving. The cold weather saps power from a battery like you wouldn't believe. If you do find yourself needing a new battery then go for a standard item but with a decent power capacity, it can vary from make to make. AND DO NOT BUY A CHEAP PIECE OF CRAP! There is nothing so depressing as a leaky battery that has gone undetected for a time.
