jonathanc
What do you mean you can't leave bad feedback? I've never sold a car before so I'm not sure. But anyhow, eBay won't do much. You will have to relist the car. I am pretty sure you can leave a bad feedback for buyers who commit to buy and chicken out afters. Oh, I read you can report him to eBay as a non payer and claim back your final value fees (that's if the buyer commited to by). http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Warning-to-sellers_W0QQugidZ10000000001098182 Oh, if I were you I wouldn't let him go that easily

ilicos
The thing with buying/selling a car on ebay is that if the car is not 100% as advertised then the other party has the right to walk away. If you relist you can get a final fee credit bu that means you can't submit feedback on the original buyer otherwise it is deemed a complete transaction and they will charge you the full commission fee. lexsum
you could sue for the sale price - but expect to pay lawyers up front or DIY. and you cant leave negative feedback on any buyer as a seller. they changed the rules after multiple complaints and OFT pressure. fizzle
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_500wt_1182 i had clearly listed the trucks condition, and offered any viewing welcome etc, made sure they were aware to bid to buy not haggle... what could i have done differently? the fee depends on how much the value is it £20 under 2G then 1% after that upto 5G then £50 max i think!! Matt H
I think its 10% up to a max of £50 Not that bad then if you're selling somthing of value.
tooquicktostop
Not that bad then if you're selling somthing of value. Only if they buy it, problem is the system allows you to walk away on the smallest of detail and they can always be found if need be
The Raven
Indeed, one mark on a car not mentioned is enough to be able to walk away from the car, one bulb thats out on dash anything not mentioned in the ad. Sucks
