cheekymonkey
Very annoyed with the service I get when I phone up Demon customer support, outsourced call centres and not very knowledgeable staff. I hardly ever have to phone them though. Anyway, had an outage at the weekend that may or may not have been Demon at fault (may have been BT) so I wanted to leave. I am currently paying £40 + VAT per month for a totally unrestricted service and a /29 block of IPs. I was about to jump ship to Zen internet however they want £45 + VAT for a similar service but I'd lose my fax to email service and backup mail relay that they provide. I didn't mind too much about this and paying the extra fiver for a company that doesn't outsource. Now, I've just found that Demon are actually offering my current service at £21.50/month plus VAT so almost half the cost and I have the option of switching to this. So... now it would cost me over £25/month to switch which I really can't justifty! Argh! I hate outsourcing but... £25 every month! Argh! Thorin
While not "unlimited" I'm very happy with Andrews & Arnold. No port blocking or traffic throttling, IP address block included free of charge (specify what you need when ordering /29 would be fine I would have thought, any bigger you might have to justify why). http://www.aaisp.net.uk/broadband-pro4.html
cheekymonkey
I've also hear good things about A&A however I really want to avoid bandwidth limits / caps etc. 4GB/month seems awfully low for a business service that will be used during the day quite a lot

AlexM
I'm just migrating to ADSL24, an entanet reseller. It still has caps, but they are actually quite realistic ones.
cheekymonkey
That does look more reasonable. Not heard of entanet - any good?

AlexM
That's quite some negative feedback on there. I've been using UKFSN for over a year (another entanet reseller), apart from some BT line problems it's been fine, and I found enta to be very helpful when I was having those problems (turned out to be corrosion on the line). Switched over as I heard UKFSN were having some financial issues, and have been recommended ADSL24. It's only a 1 month contract so I can always move on again. Martin J
While not "unlimited" I'm very happy with Andrews & Arnold. Agreed, they have been like a breath of fresh air since I switched from UKOnline earlier in the year.
cheekymonkey
Just requested my MAC code from Demon. After 12 years(!!) as a customer it's time to say good-bye Probably going to try Zen, about £22 plus VAT with a 25Gb limit. Am taking a bit of a chance that my usage won't exceed that and it's only a one month contract anyway.
