SupraStar 3000
Good luck. Both my cats have been involved in accidents requiring operations and pulled through, fit and well. Not sure if its true, but someone once told me cats mend 3 times quicker than humans. It certainly seems that way as both mine a fit and healthy asleep beside me as I type. Chiefgroover
Hope he is OK, usually cats who survive this sort of thing get very careful about roads, so less chance of this happeneing again.
Kopite
Our cat was badly injurered with a few breaks when he was younger, pulled through fine, strong creatures they are. Hope the moggy's ok

Soop Dogg
Sorry to hear this mate. Knowing how much we think of our cats, you must be going through hell at the moment. Be sure to post back here as soon as you get news. Angie and myself have everything crossed for him here.
Abz
Just reading through your updates, we are all here for you. keancy
Again thank you all for your support it's been helpful in coping and the decision making part. The op went ahead last night as the Vet couldn't wait any longer because he wouldn't have survived the night. The op has gone well and he made it through and is breathing on his own. This morning when the Vet spoke to me he was sitting up in his cage looking quite chirpy apparently. They asked me to call back at 4.30pm tonight and providing he is OK, has eaten and done his business they will let me bring him home. So happy ending hopefully.... The-Plethora
Phew hope it all ends well, put a picture of the furry lil fella up when he comes back. I live a little too close to a road to have a cat but my folks had one for years. The legendary "Frankster" passed away last year. Since then my mother has become the crazy cat lady and feeds the neighbourhood cats and they come in the house and I have one sided chats with them, usual topics of conversation involve slices of ham or how furry their bellies are;) My brother had a bad week, he came downstairs to open the curtains in the front room to see someone moving his dead cat from the road onto the grass verge, he then went to work and came back to discover he had been burgled! yeah not a good day but I am sure he will have another at some point (this one was left at the vets by his owners who never came back). keancy
Morning Peeps, sorry didn't get chance to post an update last night. I phoned at 4.30pm yesterday and was told he hadn't eaten yet so they were not happy for him to leave at that point, but he did have some Milk which is a start. Have to ring in about an hour to find out what the news is, if he can come Home I am leaving work straight away to fetch him. Watch this space.
