Golfpro
Hi Guys, was wanting to know if anyone had fitted TPMS sensors to three piece split rims before. Mine are Blitz Technospeed Z1 19s. I think that the valves are probably L shaped rather than straight, so the sensors probably wouldn`t be suitable for attachment that way. I am reluctant to stick or strap them to the drum of the wheel as others have tried. Has anyone successfully fitted them to these wheels:shrug:
T2 MSW
Not specifically to those rims but the sensors can be adjusted in angle, they should be mounted as flat to the surface of the rim as you can get them. Can not see any type of rim being an issue.

Can not see any type of rim being an issue. The wheels have been up at the tyre fitters today and he tells me that it would be too tight to fit. The valve is L shaped and fits very close to the rim so there would be insufficient room to fit the sensors. I guess I will just have to do my weekly check instead:(
T2 MSW
Thats odd, I though the TPMS sensors were exactly the same as the tyresure ones (they say TPMS on them??) and they are great big square blocks that bolt to the bottom of the valve? I can`t get to the bottom of the valve on these wheels as the valve turns at 90 degrees inside the rim and runs tight to the surface. Wez
Maybe have a chat with Ben from TyreSure and see what they say, most TPMS systems are based around very similar sensors
