SupraAyf
It's OK buying nice alloys but then you have to dress them up with rubber which as we know does not come cheap:( Or does it!! I have just picked up a pair of Pirelli P-Zero 305/30/19's with 7mm tread and no repairs - (look 100% new and includes fitting and balancing). They came off a Lambo. & 2 x NEW Bridgestone Potenzas 275/35/19's - this inlcudes delivery but not fitting............. ....................and all for 400 quid:) I can post the address up of the shop on the M1 if you guys need a good source of cheap rubber. The selection was very impressive. It pays to shop around

I've been offered a good price on my Advans but didn't want to part with them as I've just put new p-zero's on, I've got rims with no tyres in my shed, at those prices I could flog the Advans, put tyres on the old ones to do me over winter and start saving for some new rims. I'll be in touch bud

I know you shouldn't mix tyres at front or rear, but I have Falken's on the front, and F1s on the rear, and I have had no issues whatsoever. No thats cool mate. I simply wasn't sure whether I was remembering correctly. My tyres were fine and never used to be an exact match. I took the opportunity before I sold it to buy 4 new good tyres in one go and didn't really notice a difference. The arguments in the thread did make sense though. Got to be careful here dr_jekyl as it looks like you're trading in tyres....especially when sentences start with "...guys, not to be advertising or trading, but...I'm going to be advertising & trading blah blah blah..." It is certainly better than the 1400 quid I was looking at the other day for new rubber. It's just a bloody shame that you didn't post your tyre price knowledge sooner!!
