Tee from China
Received this from a friend in the UK so feel I should pass it on in-case some have not heard! May have been on TV or in the papers but as in China haven't a clue Postal Scam Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam: A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a Premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize. If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call. If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the Premium rate service regulator) at http://www.icstis.org.uk

Jake
Nice, this is true for a change.. Hmmm, not really .... The chain email refers to a service that was shut down by us in December 2005
michael
Nice, this is true for a change.. ...just like it has been for the past 3 years. It even made it onto Watchdog and a few other TV shows as well as getting quite a bit of attention from the newspapers and websites. Just goes to prove how quickly people forget or how ineffective the news really is at getting a message across.
Thorin
And there are no premium rate numbers that charge any where near £15 just for connection.
