alex2jz
Hello guys, As i am in the process of going NA-TT i am tempted to buy some parts from the US as they come cheaper. Parts like the exhaust, clutch, FMIC ect But it's the first time i attempt buying from over the pond Do you know if there any compatibility issues between these US parts and our J-Specs? Cheers

Terminator
Down pipes and exhaust manifolds can occasionally be a problem, with really big systems 4” and above, because there is a steering column in our cars where there is empty space in the USA car. Wez
Did your TT lump come from a UK or jspec, if its comes from a jspec a US/UK cat 1 replacement pipe will not fit, the flange is different, Cat 2 and onwards are all the same
David P
Bought most of my bits from U.S. because half the U.K. prices. Only problem was with the Meziere water pump, 4 of the bolt holes were in the wrong place.

If thats the stock gasket I would say thats the wrong pump
David P
Minus the expletives, my thoughts exactly, but did not find out untill the engine was stripped down. I had checked the gasket before I started, but the offending holes were behind the label on the Toyota plastic bag. Toooo much work and trouble to send it back, so re-engineered it to fit.
