(Link also has a video of someone driving past the scene)

The M3 was driven by an experienced driver. The cause of this accident was due to traffic. The M3 entered a blind curve where it hit a Mini Cooper driving a lower pace. After the impact the M3 got fire. In the end the vehicle was completely a total loss. The driver survived due to the build-in roll cage.

What I find a bit shocking is that even with all those cars attending the scene not one person has the sense to sit back before the corner that leads to the accident to try and slow people down. The chap filming the video was lucky he reacted like he did and had the brakes to back him up.

having been round the ring, I was supprosed by the lack of warning of accidents, some bloke stood on the inside of the track waving a poxy flag when your on top of the accident at 130 + just does not cut it.

Shocked this guy walked away from that as it looks a mess.

He must have been doing 150+ down that back straight, and braking hard down a sloping bend! Yes.. new underpants needed!

And the rest. Thats right at the end of the main straight and they dont have to stop for the pits. The supras were doing 150 before the gantry this year at the ring and thats miles before that corner.
