a. People do have only one cat. I would personally fit the 1.2 bar restrictor ring to ensure nothing goes pop.

b. Yes, people have only upgraded the fronts. I wouldn't recommend it. It upsets the front / rear bias.

c. Search error codes by clicking it. It's quite common but early for me to do it. :D

HTH :)

If you keep the 1st cat in place, you will hit just below one bar to my recollection. It resulted for me in 354bhp flywheel. No risk of hitting the 1.2 bar with that in place. You might if you keep the 2nd in place though.

upgrading fronts will result in less if any braking going to the back especially in the wet. This might cause trouble for you in an emergency or "spirited drive" situation. Not worth it. Get the back ones as well.

whats the answer for code 42 solution

In a nutshell, this covers most code 42 causes: replace the DSC if it has one, or replace the odometer unit, or bypass the odometer's buffer circuitry.

Which one you need to do depends on what your car's got fitted. It's very common, so the search button is your friend on this one. :)
