jackso11
Is it possible to renew the seat foam? Since changing my car my arse aches on long drives. Never used to and I refuse to believe going from cloth to leather seats causes this. Must be the foam as this car has done more miles. Guigsy
did you change car or just the seats? it might be the suspention. On a long journy that isnt a motorway where it tends to be smoother my balls tend to get an ache
jackso11
changed car too. Could be suspension. Last car had bilstein shocks and this one has standard toyota black shocks.

jackso11
haha, only just saw this reply. Found this post as I still want to do this, replace the foam that is. Anyone ever done it?
nigelboyne
the leather seats in the supra are horrific. not good for long drives at all very little support in them
jackso11
how come the fabric seats are more comfortable? surely its just the surface material that is different? I never got back ache in my old supra with fabric seats, now a long drive on these leather seats and my lower back locks and I need to roll out the car. marc_p
my lower back locks and I need to roll out the car. We need a vid of that:d
Rob_Mitchell
the person doing my retrim is building the foam up again as its callapsed on the side walls a tad, i should think the cloth is more comfortable as it moulds your arse better over the years lol not really sure
jackso11
I think the foam is screwed in mine because when I got the car there was a leak in the aerotop, and in heavy rain there would sometimes be a small pool of water on the seat. Guessing it has soaked in and the foam has degraded.
