Advice please guys.

I'm looking at buying and customizing some Hikari Ultralite Alloys.

18"X9.5" back

18"X8.5" front

5 stud

Will these fit snugly underneath standard arches and clear TT calipers and brakes?

Also, you can advise me on what size tyres to use.

Its the offset along with the width that determins the rubbing. Need to let the folks know the offset.

Or you could go upto 235 and 275. I was offered that combo with my Ultralite Nuremburgrings (same widths and offsets as what you're looking at Ed), but stuck with what Jamesy said. Would have no rubbing issues on mine at that size though.

Yep. Centers hopefully will be done Kandy apple Red.

Ultralite are going to send me a miss matched colour set for a discounted price. Doesnt matter if I'm painted them.

Just a shame they're not in 19"

With them offsets it wont look anything like that pic you are thinking of, id go with a very low offset.

I know Jamie. I'm kinda reaching that conclusion myself *sign*

Works wheels are impossible to deal with so looking for another style/make.

That white Supra in the pic had 19s" on

19x9.5 +24 and 19x11+29

235/35 tire front and 265/30.

plus rolled front and smoothed rear fenders.

Brad (owner of the car) even said it was unsuitable for race use so I'm kinda having second thoughts on achieving the same look even though it looks ace.
