SupraStar 3000
Advice please guys. I'm looking at buying and customizing some Hikari Ultralite Alloys. 18"X9.5" back 18"X8.5" front 5 stud http://www.dp-motorsport.co.uk/shop/images/ULTRALITE-005-HIKARI-GLD.jpg Will these fit snugly underneath standard arches and clear TT calipers and brakes? Also, you can advise me on what size tyres to use.
Scott
Advice please guys. Also, you can advise me on what size tyres to use. Its the offset along with the width that determins the rubbing. Need to let the folks know the offset. Jamesy
tyre wise something like 225/40/18 fronts 265/35/18 rears as scott said need offsets for the other stuff though dude.
AndrewOW
Offset 35. Paul Whiffin has had a set of these on one of his cars in the past, and I don't think there are any issues with fitment, etc.
SupraStar 3000
Cheers guy. Just waiting to hear back regarding offset.

hoff
Or you could go upto 235 and 275. I was offered that combo with my Ultralite Nuremburgrings (same widths and offsets as what you're looking at Ed), but stuck with what Jamesy said. Would have no rubbing issues on mine at that size though.

supramkivcork
Not sure about clearance of uk brakes. I have them on mine I've got 235/35/18 front and 265/35/18 on the rear on standard suspension with no rubbing issues . Offset is +35 I think. supramkivcork
Its a +35 offset and thats all they are availabe in according to http://www.ultralitewheels.com/hikari.htm
SupraStar 3000
I know Jamie. I'm kinda reaching that conclusion myself *sign* Works wheels are impossible to deal with so looking for another style/make. That white Supra in the pic had 19s" on 19x9.5 +24 and 19x11+29 235/35 tire front and 265/30. plus rolled front and smoothed rear fenders. Brad (owner of the car) even said it was unsuitable for race use so I'm kinda having second thoughts on achieving the same look even though it looks ace.
