Meko
I'm getting to the point where i hate people more and more everyday. First of all my Supra went in the garage in February after somebody kindly trashed it for me, after having the front end rebuilt and a full respray i got it back at the beginning of August. About a week after i had it back i noticed some small scratches on the rear passenger corner; as though somebody was too dumb to notice how close they were to it and scraped past with a bag in their hand. When i got the car back it hadn't been flattened and polished as i was getting bored of waiting and actually wanted to drive it (only had it two weeks before it got trashed). So it spent last week in the garage being done. Saturday is spent the day in my parking spot with nothing next to it, Sunday it hardly got used and spent the day in the same spot. Monday i parked it in the works car park (about 20 spaces) and then back in my parking space, and the same on Tuesday. Today at lunch i go out and see some t%&t who probably got their driving license from a kinder egg and is only capable of driving an elephant, decided that spending an extra 30 seconds reversing and driving out properly was too much hassle... but no, they seemed to think it'd be easier to scratch my newly painted and polished bumper, chipping a load of paint off, leaving a dark line down it and a few small scratches on the wing.. I can pretty much guess which tosser it is as there's a dark red heap of crap there that looks like they've tried to park it in a cement mixer, dents and scratches all over it. The only problem is; i don't know exactly when (which day) it was done, or any proof it was them and there's no CCTV there.. Luckily my bodyshop bloke said it won't take much to sort out and he's a load of paint left. It's a good job i'm working for the NHS as if i found out who's done it they'll be needing the bastards! ~and breathe~
Abz
Sorry to hear about your bad luck, but I thought you said it happened when you took it into the office? I am sure you could get a few days worth of CCTV if your unsure? I know what you mean, these people who just drive away, should be stripped of their license! Meko
i'm pretty sure it happened in the works car park; because i didn't see it happen i can't be 100% sure and there's no CCTV there. I've not really been anywhere else for it to happen, it's on the passenger side and because you can't see shit out of the back window in the dark i reverse into my parking space.. The parking spot next to me is for the lazy bitch next door who can't park there because she won't cut the bush back that's taking over her spot. The only other places i've been are Asda - drove into the spot so the place it's been clipped wasn't possible to get to and the Off License but nobody was parked near me. Maybe one day i'll have the car how i want it.
Jake
It's bloody annoying, isn't it. You can't have anything nice without having to worry about it all the time. Kinda spoils the enjoyment though. God knows how people with really expensive cars cope, I'd be obsessed. Meko
She doesn't have to worry about trimming her bush, she's a right miserable cow and probably can't get laid. If i was desperate enough to want to slip her a length i'd have to drink the rohypnol myself.

Mate I've had virtually every car I've ever owned smashed into whilst parked, even my aristo. At least the guy that did my aristo had the balls to come and tell me he had stuck his tow bar through my back bumper. Somebody hit my range rover in three seperate incidents in two different countries, Even the sh*t heap rover I have now has a scrape down the side of it from some kind individual. My supra a toss pot in a flatbed stuck the tailgate through the passenger door making a six inch hole in it, fortunately next door saw him do it and took the number off the side of it. Back bumper on my sierra someone also stuck a towbar so hard into it that they split it clean in half. Thats before we even get into car doors bounced off mine and left. Angarak
Paint forensics would determine if the suspect car was the culprit. However you'd have to pursue this out of your own pocket as it would be a waste to try to claim via insurance.
Meko
you should see the state of the car i 'think' it was. it's got more scratches than paint. Not worth the hassle for what the 'damage' is to mine.. Although to top it off the brakes have started grinding.
