DamanC
Open door - Throw them in - close door - drive Alternatively I suppose you could get some cat cages and secure them.
Suprash
Thought this was a typo and you meant cars, was about to offer my services lol, but dont think the moggies will like being strapped down on the back of the truck

Thorin
Isn't this common sense? Stick em all in one cardboard box and let it just slide around all over the place in the back obviously.
Animal
Line the back of the van with Velcro?

Matt H
Does it matter what vehicle it is? Stick them in the bog standard kitty carriers and secure them in / to the van?
Dozymare
I use the cages designed for transporting dogs as they're large enough for a sitting/lieing area and a litter tray. Suspend either a torch or a battery powered camping latern from the roof using string (my cats seem to travel better in the light), Bungie strap the cages to the sides of the van. Works for me.. SimonT
Just put them in cat boxes, secure them in the van and put some newspaper in them because they are bound to have a piss or even worse a good old number 2 in them!! The only thing you cant do really is put water in there for them as it will go everywhere, but maybe some of those dry cat biscuits so they dont get de-hydrated etc
dr_jekyll
cat cages and strap them down, the cages that is not the cats, but that could also work.

Nettielikescars
Dog cages as someone else has suggested but so they have water, buy the largest Bottle like they have for hamsters with the ball bearing in the end, like these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CLASSIC-LARGE-600ml-ANIMAL-DRINKING-BOTTLE-PET-RABBIT_W0QQitemZ150306663429QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Small_Animals?hash=item22fef9ac05
Chris Wilson
Bloody `ell, if they can't make Hertfordshire to Cornwall at this time of year without a drink there's something up with them I am taking one of our dogs from Shropshire to Portsmouth and back on Saturday, I don't expect to be messing about giving it water until it gets back home. It'll have one widdle stop, and that's it No food the night before.
Abz
If you really wanted you could just leave them in the back of the van. They are pretty good at balance so won't be knocking into the wall of the Van every 2 seconds. Just drive a lot more carefully over bumps and round corners and you will be fine. Just be careful when you open the door at the end of the journey as they WILL jump out!
