I only live a few miles from Droitwich (nr Hanbury) so I'll pop in for a drink to say hello if I can make it and nobody minds of course...? Are you going to be sticking around for a few drinks after the meal as I don't want to gatecrash while you're all still eating

Just to remind, the meal is booked for 5pm, I'll be there about ~4:30.

 

The pub's postcode is WR9 0QB, not the incorrect one on their website. As you head along the Dual Carraigeway, you need to look for the lane that starts immediately to the left of the Total petrol station, which is on the Southbound carraigeway (there is a turning lane for those - like me - approaching from the South and thus on the Northbound carraigeway).

 

Just to give people a heads-up, it's changed hands since we last met there and it's not as countrified as it was back then. I had an 'interesting' time making & updating the booking and eventually paying the deposit, but I'm sure it'll be fine...

Right guys see you there - please have the deposits I'm owed in CASH as I don't take cards (£5/head). There is a cash machine about 3 miles away, just to the North, at the Esso petrol station along the DC.
