Paul Whiffin
Edit - not worth the trouble. Read it already, very petty. Nothing shoddy about me, no need to get personal is there now, not sure what your problem is. Everyone else seems to understand, strange. Mad Matt
Can get tickets on door, but if you buy them from me, the money goes back into the club!
Branners
Can get tickets on door, but if you buy them from me, the money goes back into the club! and you save £7.50 per ticket over the 'on the gate' prices which soon adds up for a car full of mates. michael
Ah yes and I've lost £100 out of my pocket myself remember, its not like I'm doing this on purpose is it Yeah I'm being an utter arse about it - selfish because I'm getting nagged by these poor chaps who are desperate to run. I know you wanted to run too though so my comments are pretty gay under the circumstances. Consider this an apology. The bit about you having shoddy business practices is still true though
Branners
Paul, these things happen. TOTB is no longer about also-rans so you have to do what you can to get the car up to the highest spec you can, sometimes it doesnt work out. Leon will attest to that, he hasnt made the last 2 years due to extremely last minute failures. Safe bet you arent the only one having to drop out, other clubs will have problems too. Have you emailed Chris Mann to let him know? JB

Ian C
Hey, Paul, how do you launch a manual then? What's the method you use as I'm hopeless at it... -Ian
Paul Whiffin
Haven't really been able to master it myself properly with the current spec. Only been drag racing in it once or twice the last year or so, prefer the track days myself, much more fun....Just try everything until your times improve! Branners
Hey, Paul, how do you launch a manual then? What's the method you use as I'm hopeless at it... -Ian I can bore you with my theories at TOTB...I can certainly fling my car off the line but never drag raced it but my technique sort of works. Vaughany
Are there any convoys passing by northampton (j15 m1) to the TOTB on sunday, if so where and when. Thinking about going now, went last year and I want to see Leon run. On a separate note, anyone got spare tickets for sale? looking at me, the missus, and the two kids (age 3 and 6 - are these FOC) Cheers
michael
I've just got back from Elvington, pretty wet at the moment but getting brighter, still lots of traction though The roads into the village are a bit rough in places at the moment, lots of holes at the sides that want to tear your alloys to bits and throw you onto the grass, fair bit of standing water too so be careful. Oh and they have put speedbumps on the little access road to the airfield for some silly reason.
