mrgee2jz
Hi guys, i just had a brainwave, I wos wondering if there was any way of using an N/A engine with a TT ecu, map sensor, injectors ect and bolt on a turbo? I understand the different C/R and some other bits, The only main difference is the ignition system and if that will work? has anybody tried this or even thought of it??? I have a 2 spare N/A engines and a turbo kit too Does anybody have any ecu pinouts for the N/A ecu to do a slight comparison???
Tricky-Ricky
Even if you do come up with a workable solution to ignition compatibility, the STD ECU ign timing map is going to be too aggressive for the higher compression of the N/A motor with boost. Kirk
you want the short answer? Yes it can be done and has been done http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=565544 but theres no point http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7190826&postcount=
Tricky-Ricky
Its still running a MAP ECU as well so that kind of doesn't qualify;)

Kirk
bpu boost on an NA is a disaster in the making UNLESS you pull the head and put a thicker HG on but even then you have to be careful! injectors need upping and with stock ecu your confined to 400 max
