What would happen on an n\a if the manifold was custom made so that the 3 ports left went into 1 exhaust that run down one side of the car and the other 3 went into another exhaust down the other side or.......... They are tuned resonance pipes, as such they follow a proper design. (Or at least they should) There is a more indepth reason for this. No reason you couldn't route the pipes around, BUT it is a lot of fabrication work for no gain other than appearance.
