Scott
If they both had infinite energy I still don't think Pudz would have any questions that Sylvia wouldn't have had the answer for. He threw 2 kicks or something ridiculous like that, it was his main arsenal in one of his fights and yet he didn't use it..... as he saw it had next to no effect. Sylvia is hardly in his prime either. I hope Pudz sticks it out, this has only shown him he has a lot to learn and a big big hill to climb. Not one to shy away from things he puts his mind to though is he
tony tt
I hope pudz sticks it out and learns to control his breathing. He cant slim down any more than he is now he lost something crazy like 80lbs to help him train. Hope to see him fight again hes not the type of bloke to go home quietly. supracars
i reckon Pudz will have to work really hard if he is to get anywhere with this MMA thing....age is against him big time
Bobbeh
He doesn't look mobile enough to me, his bulk slows down his shots and I don't think his strength is as big an advantage as he thought it would be to him.
supracars
TBH he looked lost in that fight...it reminded me a bit of Tyson in his last few fights not nice to see a legend take a pasting.

Not one to shy away from things he puts his mind to though is he I agree, but I actually thought that Pudz would win this fight. But as you say, he had nothing. And in my opinion he has the wrong gameplan, he needs to go all out in the first round, and try and hurt these guys, and not push them to the cage all the time. he does not have the stamina to hang around with these top guys. I suspect he will never have the stamina, he has too much muscle really. But than again you never know with Pudz, he goes all in when he does something so I will not rule anything out. all in all It was a very disappointing fight in my opinion. pezzler
I wonder where UFC stand on steroid use anyway? If they have strict rules, then maybe mariusz wont advance very far; his selling point is his mass and power, both will be affected if he is not allowed to use the "supplements" that he has had available to him in the past
Harry Sachs
I wonder where UFC stand on steroid use anyway? If they have strict rules, then maybe mariusz wont advance very far; his selling point is his mass and power, both will be affected if he is not allowed to use the "supplements" that he has had available to him in the past They CAN be pretty choosy on the subject. For instance they just signed James Toney, who has previously popped positve for Winstrol. Then there is Brock Lesnar, who has previous with HGH, again that was waaaay before his UFC days. I think that as long as you don't take gear whilst under contract to them, then they don't really bother. For instance Sean Sherk was stripped of his title after popping positive for Deca and they will not bring back Josh Barnett seeing as he has tested positive for just about everything in the past. I don't think MPudz is anywhere near good enough to be in the UFC anyway, he has powerful kicks but is blowing out of his backside after throwing 2 of them. dive_popo
It turns out that Mariusz fought since the mid-rounds with a broken leg... i think that he will need some more stamina if he wants to win some fights...
pezzler
Its good to see that some of their fighters are being given the boot for steriod abuse; way too many pro athletes go under the radar I think something like UFC needs to stay clean and real, I'd hate to see it get too americanised and end up like pro wrestling
Konrad
I still say - give guy some time ffs, he is doing it for 4 months! Knowing his character, lost fight with Silva will actually motivate him to work harder

Knowing his character, lost fight with Silva will actually motivate him to work harder I agree i think he will be totally pissed off and only crave it more! As said though he needs to explode and unload all that power as soon as the bell goes before he runs out of fuel. His next fight though i think hope to see a huge change in performance by him. He will be disgraced in Poland if he doesnt get it together soon. Roll on the next one! As for the steroid issue that was raised he will be able to sustain that size through hard training and he does train hard and heavy. I seen a few of his training videos the guys an animal. He is unaturally strong, as are all of the WSM guys; interesting to see how it all pans out for him

Knowing his character, lost fight with Silva will actually motivate him to work harder My only problem with giving the guy time, is that time is not on his side. He's what 33 or summit? And like you said has only been training mma professionally for 4 months. He's got his work cut out for him, and no doubt being a crazy Pole he will go 110%. I think if he were to improve his stamina and work on Takedown defence then he could become relevana in a HW devision. The UFC is a long way off at this point though. They train at 'London Shootfighters' in Park Royal. I'd love to have a go at it, but I'd never be able to train witht he hours I do, and an injury would seriously screw my ability to do a graft. One of the sparks I work with.....All he ever talked about was UFC this and UFC that. So after months of talk he enrolls in MMA classes. On the 1st night the 'instructer' told him to attack him....5 minutes later he woke up with a sore face. Not to be deterred though, he went back the following week and the next day in work he comes in limping, two blackeyes and a swollen lip. He never went back, and doesn't really talkabout the UFC too much anymore. As much as I'd love to give it a go.......F0CK THAT!!
