The fact they are in the bottom 2 means they are making less money than most. Must be advertising in it somewhere. There has to be sense to this nonsensical situation. Shows a joke. It's a ploy of some sort, of that I am convinced. Cowell is a very clever business man. He knows how to manipulate the public. While he was giving them stick they were getting voted in. The week that he gives them an easy time they end up in the bottom 2. I'm guessing he didn't want them to go and just realised that not giving them stick messed up his plans. Chances are his minions hand-picked them to audition (several times) to ensure this pile of shite TV show gets constant attention from the media and the masses. If it was all about talented people who could just about sing like established artists then nobody would give a crap. Ultimately Cowell is the one making all the money out of this, the more people who ring up to "save" them in order to "annoy" him the more he'll be smiling inside.
