michael
Because since The show started he's moaned how poo they are and how bad it is for the show if they win. ...which generates lots of free publicity and a lot of people willing to vote for a particular person / group because he gives the impression it will bother him. I know what your saying about the phone calls and money but he doesn't need it. Maybe he wants another Veyron or a spoiler for his Maybach... ultimately he's still working, he's either bored or wants more money.
Martin J
I hope they win now and his label is forced to blow a million quid on a deal for them, plus advertising etc. .....Though he'll probably make it all back when they get to #

Homer
Why would he do that? Chances are his minions hand-picked them to audition (several times) to ensure this pile of shite TV show gets constant attention from the media and the masses. If it was all about talented people who could just about sing like established artists then nobody would give a crap. Ultimately Cowell is the one making all the money out of this, the more people who ring up to "save" them in order to "annoy" him the more he'll be smiling inside. The scary thing is the public would actually spend money on any crap they released and they would probably go to number one. Cut directly to the chase That pretty much sums up the whole show. Scott
I hope they win now and his label is forced to blow a million quid on a deal for them, plus advertising etc. That would be very funny, and worth a punt IMO. I couldn't bring myself to vote for them though, not unless I knew for a fact that everyone would follow suit.
Gaz6002
I tend not to get worked up. I enjoy starting and fueling a good "work up" though LOL, oi! My comment was meant to have that effect. FWIW, my Facebook is full of simple people protesting like they've lost all civil rights, yet when something truly shocking happens in the real world, I get to find out what their 15th child had for lunch on Monday. I'm not bitter though.
Mcgoo
He knew the 'THEY' would have more public votes and that Lucy would go. He Probably does hate those talentless pair of c*cks, but she was probably the only one in the competition that could challenge any of his acts. Good business but unfair. She was actually quite good. Scott
Apologies Gaz, I'm so outraged by the Jedward outcome that I'm not quite switched on. Anyway, what is Louis clap all about? Have you guys seen it? I GLOL every time I see it.
Scoboblio
yet when something truly shocking happens in the real world, I get to find out what their 15th child had for lunch on Monday. Excellent. You're right, there are much more important / interesting / shocking things happening in the real world. I'm still surprisingly disappointed at the result though... but even more disappointed with myself for caring

Scott
He's a robot, the real one died ages ago. kmVhp4JVCxE I did read comments about his facial structure changing over the last week or 6. There was a point last week where he started applauding. Looked hilarious, even better than the examples in the vid. So robotic, as you say. Scott
Who here has voted at any stage of this "show" ? I haven't. Me, weekly. Jedward FTW! My Wife likes to vote, I'm the man of the house so I decide who for!
RedM
Who here has voted at any stage of this "show" ? I haven't. Voted? I've not watched a second of this sh*te yet, much less given enough of a sh*t to even think of reaching for the phone.
JustGav
Voted? I've not watched a second of this sh*te yet, much less given enough of a sh*t to even think of reaching for the phone. Ah but you have spent time READING about it

ozz
Voted? I've not watched a second of this sh*te yet, much less given enough of a sh*t to even think of reaching for the phone. Yet you read 5 pages of a thread dedicated to it? Gone on, be honest with yourself and watch it! I rarely miss an episode but this year just isn't grabbing me like usual. Simon's been sh1te tonight though, he gets annoyed when acts who can sing are in the bottom 2, yet saves a group that can't sing. He's thinking of his ratings, its his show so why not I guess. dangerous brain
Its all about the cash. The phone line votes earn more money than the record ultimately ever does, so now its about the money made on the phone lines and the road show not the records that actually take over a year to show their faces and apart from leona come to cock all anywhere. RedM
It's safe to say that Martin doesn't know what he is talking about. I do. Basically every person who watches, votes or simply enjoys this parade of fools is complicit in the Cowell-approved destruction of the mainstream music industry. You're making millions for that prick and yet I reckon he'd cross the street to avoid each and every one of you. I hate him and every single one of the f*cktards that appears on the show. If they want to be famous they should work at it and perfect their art. If they can't be arsed to do that then there are plenty of service industry jobs better suited to them. Shame on you all for watching this and perpetuating this fascade.
michael
I'm going to record it and watch it twice now.
Scott
Retort I was just pulling your leg bud, not being serious. You stated that you hadn't read any of this thread, thought I would be witty and say you didn't know what you were talking about (as you hadn't read any of it). Too subtle for my own good
