grandiaerbest
He is brilliant, but he ain't fighting the top fighters. Disagree. tell who is the top fighter? Brock Lesner? he has joke of a record 4-1. Fedor has beaten all the best! Andrei Arlovski (Former UFC Champ) Mark Coleman (Former UFC Champ) Beaten him Twice Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira (Former UFC Champ) Beaten him Twice Kevin Randleman (Fomer UFC Champ) Tim Sylvia (Former UFC Champ) Matt Lindland (Won silver medal in the Olympics in Wrestling in 2000) Mirko Cro Cop (Fedor beat Cro Cop in his prime) (Cro Cop was a Pride Grand Prix Winner) Hong Man Choi (7 ft 2 in and 319 lb) (Also a Fomer K-1 Champion) Semmy Schilt (K-1 Champion and 6 ft 11 in) I could go on, the fact is Fedor has beaten all the best. and it is time people gave him the respect he deserves. He is a true champion and is always humble and a true gentleman.

His fights are all hand picked for him, by his manager, who also happens to be te co-owner and president of M1 Global I never said he hasn't fought the top fighters, I said he ISN'T fighting them at this point in his career. Sure, Arlovski, Coleman and Sylvia where great in thier day, but this isn't when he is fighting them is it? He is fighting them on their way down. Fedor has been beaten by the way, his record is 31-1. So he lost with a cut, and many people still say he is undefeated, but where I'm from losing is losing. For what it's worth, I did respect Fedor and I still do enjoy his fights, but when he knocked back a rumoured $15million to sign with the UFC despite them bowing at just about every demand that was made, my respect went out the window. He was not beaten in that fight! It was a very controversial stoppage, and he beat that guy senseless later. Watch the video on Youtube and tell me that was a loss! And yes i believe Fedor can beat Lesner. what has lesner done, that is so amazing? beaten Couture at the age of 45? or winning heath herring on decision? a guy Fedor beat the living shit out of. or the 3-6 Min-soo Kim? or losing to Frank Mir? Brock Lesner has not done enough to face a champion like Fedor. Every MMA expert like Bas Rutten and the likes, have said that Fedor is the best fighter on the planet today and some of them have said best ever! And the reason Fedor did not sign with the UFC is because they would not allow him to compete in Sambo competions back home in russia. Listen to Fedors side of the story and you will see why he did not sign with the UFC, also Dana White has been an ass to Fedor. Dana White is a moron if i may be totally honest, he is a liar and a true business man. Fedor fights whoever is in front of him, did you even watch him back in the pride days? when he destoyed Big Nog twice when Big Nog was in the form of his life. Also Pride was the best in my opinion, UFC does not even come close. I will bet you 100£ that even Fedors little brother Alexander would beat Lesner. Jamesy W
Regardless, controversial or not, the fight is down a as a loss on his record. There ain't really two ways about it. Lesnar is a relative newcomer, so obviously he hasn't done much, but being the World Champion in the worlds top MMA organisation after 4 fight is pretty impressive to me. He moves like a Welterweight and is twice the size of Fedor. That's why my money would be on him. Yeah, it's true he will not sign exclusive contracts so that he can compete in Sambo, but the UFC bent over backwards, and all but one of the demands that was made. The stumbling block was the fact that his manager wanted to become 50% partners. I wasn't an avid mma fan till a few years back, so not entirely clued up on Pride. What I am saying is, right now at this point in time he is not fighting the top guys. Any top fighter always wants the big names to fight against, and to test themselves. So again, IMO he is ducking the top boys. Maybe that's not the case, but that's my view/opinion and I'm sticking to it Believe it or not, I'm more of a Fedor fan than a Lesnar fan. I see where you are coming from, and i respect your opinion. I am pretty sure Fedor(M-1 Global) don't pick the fights, they may have a say, but it is the one that is paying that is making those decisions, thats just how business works. And Lesnar being UFC Champ with a 4-1 record is a joke in my opinion. i think the heavyweight divsion in the UFC is very overrated. i remember when Liddel was champ in the UFC and he fought Quinton Jackson in a special Pride vs UFC fight. and jackson gave him a real beating. Pride always had the best fighters, all the UFC guys almost always lost against the Pride guys. and than Dana White bought Pride, fucking moron he is. And now Dream is founded by the Pride guys, so expert the UFC to go down in ratings big time when Dream get thier show going. Also Pride had matches with NO weight classes, so 100pound guy could fight a 300pound guy. good stuff. I stick by my opinion that Fedor is the best fighter in the world at the moment, 4years ago he was better than he is now, i will give you that. Remember Rogers had a 10-0 record, much better then Lesnar. As i said, i do see your point and a lot of people agree with you and a lot with me, i fully respect your opinion. DODGYDODDS
fedor is a grat fighter, i'll give you that. He has achieved many great wins over some expert and polished oponnents. He probably is a better fighter than lesnar, certainly has mucho more experience. But im not so sure even the great fedor would batter lesnar, let alone fedors lil bro. Lesnar is a dif animal to many of his past opponents, he is literally a machine. Dont get me wrong though, i would love to see it
