My mum passed away 6 weeks ago, only 5 weeks after she was diagnosed with cancer. All I can say even after this short time is that it does get easier. My Dad was was diagnosed with an incurable Cancer 7 years ago and my Mum was always making sure he was ok. We were always expecting it would be my Dad to go first but now I am worried that my Dad will give up and at 82 years old I must prepare for it. I have been with him all week sorting out everything and I feel like I have been too busy to mourn her because I have been supporting him. I am sure the reality will hit me at the funeral on Tuesday.
