Mum passed away

My mum sadly passed away on Monday, she said to my Dad that she couldn't get out of bed or move her left leg. She was talking to him in the ambulance but was gradually fading.

I arrived at the hospital shortly after my Dad and was taken to the relatives room where the doctor told us that she had had a major stroke. They took a CAT scan of her head hoping that she could be transfered to another hospital with a specialist stroke unit and be operated on to stop the bleed.

Sadly the doctor informed us that is was a catasthrophic bleed and she had only hours to live.

I am glad she did not suffer and thankfully all of our family was at her beside when she finally slipped away at 4pm.

My Dad is especially upset as they had been married for 58 years and never spent a day apart.

You will be sadly missed Mum by everyone who knew you.

I love you and will always miss you.:(

Rest in Peace Mum.

God looked around his garden

And saw an empty space.

He then looked down upon this earth

And saw your smiling face.

God's garden must be beautiful,

He always takes the best.

For an unknown reason he took you

up to heaven, and shielded you with grace.

It broke our hearts to see you go,

But you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.
