Scott
I've been playing a lot of the guitar hero games on the Wii over the last month or 2. With a lot of practice I managed to get onto "Expert" on GH3. It has taken me ages and I haven't even managed to finish all of the Hard tracks, as I can't play death metal.... i can't catch the rhythm of it all... is there any? Anyway, I then moved onto world tour and GH5. I found these games a lot easier. I could finish just about every level in medium first time everytime. I put it down to practicing so much with GH3. I'm playing Band Hero now. Most of the songs are rubbish and I'm finding it soo easy on Hard its not funny. I am literally getting 4 & 5 star's for each song everytime. There are only a few that I can't get 4's for and there is only 1 that I can't finish "Impression that I get". Is it just me or are these games getting easier and easier? I've only had Band Hero for 3 days and I've almost completed it. Previously I at least had to practice a couple of times to learn the songs. Porky1978
I'm the same. Played GH3 to death, only got the last 6 or so songs to do on expert and i've completed it . Personally i think 3 is the hardest of them all as since then i've done world tour, metallica and 5 on expert (still not managed to do 3 though!! ) Best so far is 9 stars on 'They Say' by scars on broadway on expert on GH5
edge
Just very nearly completed cliffs of dover on expert earlier on the wii. GH3 is by far the hardest but has some awsome tracks. Get metallica gh if you can as thats one of the best and i think i have every guitar hero and band hero available. Haleys younger brother has just completed through the fire and flames on expert but im not far behind him. I may even try and real guitar again
DaveR
I love Guitar Hero Metallica (PS3) - so addictive - but how the hell anyone has the coordination to get to hard or expert is beyond me, to be honest! I'm not bad on medium now, but I think things will start going wrong when I have to add that orange button too...

The images from the 'Guitar Queero' episode of Southpark is what springs to mind here.

I just completed fade to black also on expert so i thought i was pretty good and her little brother sent me a pic message to show me he just got a 1300 note streak on it

michael
I've just got into these games, have GH3, Band Hero and World Tour with Metallica in the post at the moment. Medium / Hard on World Tour and GH3 guitar, I find Band Hero dull due to the songs. Started playing the drums today and enjoyed them but apparently it's antisocial when upstairs on a laminate floor Fun games, might get me back into playing my real guitar again. Porky1978
Just got myself a real guitar after playing the guitar hero games to death. I officially suck though so will need a LOT more practice to get anywhere near 'medium' lol.

Purity14
Nice one Edge, I havent seen this thread before. How is your Guitar Heroing going Scott? Scott
Got bored to be honest. Every now and again I pick it up and play a few songs. I don't see the point in them bringing out game after game, all that changes is the track list. I've made a couple of my own now. I'm going to work on another one in the near future.
