miko_supra
Removed the stock cat back exhaust and installed a 3" whifbitz exhaust today. The exhaust is built well and sounds good, and also a fraction of the price of hks, blitz etc exhamples, so I'm pretty happy with it. The weight of the stock cat back was 19kg and the new exhaust is 10kg so that's another 9kg to add to the total weight loss. I took a short video, just trying to upload it now. miko_supra
I installed my new BC Racing coilovers this week. I went for about a 25mm drop, I also got some clear side indicators put on too. Hopefully I should have a good camera in the new year so I can stop producing this out of focus crap. miko_supra
I think next I'm going to crack on with some more weight loss and get the rear seats out. I have ordered some materials to make up something to cover up the missing seats to keep it looking neat.
Luxluc
Very nice. Have you weighted the BC coilovers vs the stock one's
miko_supra
Very nice. Have you weighted the BC coilovers vs the stock one's No I didn't weigh them, I doubt there is any difference at all between them.
miko_supra
Got my new seats all mounted up today. I used the stock mounting brackets and made up a fixed runner. Quite a good weight saving on these with 12kg saved overall.

deathmonkey
I am seriously impressed with your work on this mate. Seriously makes me want to go and do some proper work on mine, myself. Surely a project thread... Subscribed, great work.
miko_supra
I took the rear seats out and the seat belts today. I didnt want a big ugly bit in the back of the car where the seats used to be, so I made up a simple board to put in its place. The board is made out of corrugated plastic (correx) so it weighs bugger all. Over all I saved 15kg with this mod It's not fully finished yet, as I need to tidy up where the black cloth goes round the transmission tunnel. miko_supra
During the windy weeks not too long ago my bumper that was sitting in the garden got blown around and all scratched and scuffed. I painted it last week and tonight I flatted it all back and gave it a good polish.
miko_supra
New intercooler should be arriving tomorrow and i've also ordered a greddy front lip which is all I'll be doing to the exterior. http://www.rhombus-tuning.com/Rhombus%20Supra/IMG_2347.jpg
miko_supra
Intercooler arrived. Came with allot of fixings and brackets but no instructions so it was a bit of a trial and error learning curve. Just managed to get it in and all lined up today. jackso11
How did you paint your bumper? out of cans or in a spray shop?
miko_supra
How did you paint your bumper? out of cans or in a spray shop? I got a compressor and a gun. Just did it in the shed with some heaters on full blast in there.
