miko_supra
Some very nice handiwork going into this car, are you aiming for a 'raw' weekend and track car? I would have thought the thread was worthy of going into the projects forum, if it meets the criteria. Cheers Alex. Before I bought the car i was planning on going single straight away. But looking at the costs etc... I would prefer to have everything else on the car 100% before doing that so for now I just want an as good as possible bpu car in terms of performance and all round tidiness. pbryant_knight
Nice progress in a short space of time. I have to say the dash looks great now. Who would put wood effect on a Supra dash? it's really an old man thing. like a Jag dash or old BMW. Peter
miko_supra
Removed the seats as some recaros should hopefully be going in at the weekend and dyed the carpet black whilst I had them out.

miko_supra
Started to do a bit more on the engine bay. I steam cleaned it all first and then spruced up my intake manifold. I will be doing the same to the turbo side as well. Before After

Kev_A
Subscibed! Your're doing an excellent job Mike! What did you do to the Plenum? Is it just really well cleaned or painted?

I gave it a good cleaning then got a rotary wire brush on it and then painted it with high temp aluminium paint, I thought it came out pretty nice

RobD
I like this supra, The carpet makes a world of difference to the interior, and the plenum and spark plug cover looks superb!
miko_supra
Great idea where did you get the paint from and i take it you took the inlet off to paint it? Halfords high temp paint. I was going to take it off, but then couldn't be arsed so just removed what I could easily take off of it and masked up the rest.

SimonT
Top job!! Is it a spray can or actual paint?? Are you going to do the same with the cam covers??
miko_supra
Top job!! Is it a spray can or actual paint?? Are you going to do the same with the cam covers?? Its just a spray can, took me about 2 hours to do the lot I recon, so very cheap and easy considering the results. I think I'll probably leave the cam covers none of the paint is flaking on them.
