imi
the Thomson sky HD box has its own gremlins.....
p111ddy
Is the box still coming on as normal? Is it only playback/recording failing? Have you removed main power input into box & left for ten minutes, then tried again? Have you done a software download? Do you know how too? What model (brand) is it? Sorry to fire all the questions but I'm a sky engineer & maybe be able to help before you bin it lol

p111ddy
ok, did you lose all the stuff on the planner before or after the system reset? Is the flap where the card goes in short & on the right? Or does it go all the way to the middle of the box at the bottom? When they said to do the reset, did they tell you to: pull out the power lead, hold down the backup button, put lead back in & wait for all the lights on the box to come on, then wait? penguin
it's the one where the flap for the card is on the lower right hand side.. everything on the planner was wiped before the message came up on screen they made me go through the services 401 "select" screen.... can't record anything - when i press record, the system fault message pops up
