We'd arranged to meet up via a forum, said a few hellos at Stansted and then got on the plane. Got talking properly in Copenhagen, spent a great day and evening together punctuated by the distraction that was the band we were supposed to be seeing. Abz Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Went to a car show 6 years ago, last minute my friend dropped out...but a girlfriend said she had a friend up north in Chesterfield who could maybe provide some company. I drove from London to Chesterfield (saw photo's so I knew she was hot stuff ) she was even hotter when I met her. She was only 16 and me 19, we drove to Hull and she brought along her little sister as well. Went to the car show (with my orange EG civic, yes Matt H you copied me!). Had a great time but to make it up to her I took her to Ice Skating nearby she was amused I could skate - Now we are we viewing halls this weekend to get married next year . Both of us were heavily involved in the World Extreme Cagefighting scene at that time but it was the Smith vs McKenzie fight that eventually introduced us.
