BOB B
Bit of an update. "Supra matt" came over on Sunday and brought his compression tester and we double checked the compression, and there is deffinately no compression on number 6 cylinder, he also sold me his spare UK turbo set with all the bits (these are from little nums car RIP). The car with the turbos and the problems are all going to AFR this Saterday, thanks to "suprash" for the trailering and "Dude" for booking it in, and then somewhere down the line I will get a nice healthy car back. I will keep updating this or another thread with progress on what was wrong and what was needed to fix it, hopefully it will not be too major and I can get the AFR guys to do a few other smaller jobs. pistonbroke
That's unbelievable mate. First your turbos, then the engine. Only way I can think it possibly happening is your turbo has disintergrated and bits of it have chewed No'6 up. Of course, I'm probably way off, but the timing of both faults seems too close to just be bad luck.
BOB B
Yep, I'm hoping its just bad timing and the two are not connected and that they are reasonibly (that does not look right) simple to sort out. pistonbroke
Well, If you consider a new engine or rebuild reasonable. Good for you mate I'd be in tears
