devan
Just wandering if my Supras passenger seatbelt is supposed to slightly tighten when the ignition is turned off? The drivers one doesn't do it, and ive never heard of it before, strange?
add heywood
My drivers side seat belt tightens when I turn the car off, don't know about the passemger side as I never sit in it
bigbloodyturbo
My drivers side seatbelt tightens when I turn the engine off and I think my passenger side one does aswell now as my mate asked was it supposed to do that the other day. I think they're pre-tensioners or something to take up the slack in your seatbelt just before you plough into something.
James
My girlfriend mentioned this to me before from the passenger seat, yet I have never personally noticed it on my side. Did always wonder if it was just her going mad
AlexJames
When I had an N/A Both did that too... the TT doesn't however... one thing I never noticed before is that when leaving the car, I open the door with the turbo timer still running, the front lights are switched off... incredibly handy as now I never turn them off, they always come on and off automatic.
